Australia: Call for Return of Indigenous Fire Management
Aboriginal elders say traditional fire management practices need to be restored on Cape York Peninsula in far north Queensland. A project is under way to record the traditional fire knowledge of Kuku Thaypan elders and put it into a documentary.
