Michigan: Norway Wetland to Purify Area Water
The City of Norway's wetland restoration program is finishing up. The program is going to rechannel a creek to purify water and bring back the wetland and recreational opportunities to the area. White Creek was rechanneled in the early 1900s to make way for mine drainage. To clean up the water, Norway city officials are bringing the creek back to its original habitat and giving it back its meandering path.
